With our company growing, we’re looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to expand our brand reach globally, engage with new prospects online, and ultimately support sales convert leads to excited new clients. This is no typical marketing job. Growth is the name of game here. It requires a highly creative individual, someone capable of understanding our audience’s online habits and behaviours and delivering valuable content and personalized messages at the right place and time.

It’s about embracing our software’s “co-creative” nature to ensure our own online assets and communications stick out from a very crowded marketing technology and innovation management marketplace. In addition to flexing one’s creative chops, we need someone with the right technical skill set as well. Someone familiar with everything from SEO best practices, to marketing automation and conversion optimization. Above all else, we need someone with a curious mind who is always researching, evaluating and testing new marketing tools so that we can create, engage and convert leads in the most cost-efficient and effective ways possible.

This isn’t the right gig for everyone. But it’s perfect for someone who understands the role of marketing in an enterprise sales and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environment. Someone who is passionate about how our platform can help the world’s most admired companies transform their customer experience and the endless possibilities available to them through open innovation. This role will challenge you to take your marketing, intellectual and creative game to the next level.

About the role:

You will be part of a small and growing team that is responsible for driving the commercial growth and brand awareness of our North American and European business.

You will be involved across the entire B2B marketing spectrum and customer lifecycle, from creating awareness to generating demand and helping our sales team close more business. To do this, you will work with senior leaders in our business to develop your approach. You will be asked to find creative ways of driving traffic, interest levels and engagement through our content, social media and other important acquisition channels. We’re looking for someone who can both educate and inspire potential clients around how our product and services will help develop their business.

You will work in a fast paced, dynamic team that will challenge you on a daily basis. Every day will be different, and you will be working on many opportunities across multiple sectors at any one time.

You will have clear goals, be given regular feedback by your manager - the COO - and you will have the opportunity to progress in a growing, ambitious and entrepreneurial business.

Does This Sound Like You?

  • You have at least 3-5 years’ experience in online marketing, digital strategy and/or social media, preferably with a fast-growing software startup and/or digital ad agency experience. 

  • You have marketing technology and/or related software product marketing experience.

  • You have a bias for tangible results; you like to know when your campaigns succeed, when they fail, and you like to see the contributions you make.

  • You like to continuously improve yourself, which means you like fast feedback, and you have a real appetite to learn.

  • You have a real bias for action – you get stuff done. If you are dissatisfied with something, you do something about it.

The Nuts and Bolts of the Role

You will be responsible for helping Chaordix grow. You will need to be able to identify emerging trends, reach well-defined target audiences, educate them about our product offerings, and nurture them along the sales journey.            

You will be part of the team responsible for our website, blog, social media, email, and online advertising. There is a lot for you to shape in this role. We have lots of internal resources and thought leaders, and best in class approaches for how we reach and engage new prospects. But we want a person who will be excited about coming up with new ideas for how we continuously expand, engage and convert.

In a given week, you may be working on many different projects from email campaigns, to livestreaming on Facebook. We may be creating fun GIFs to share interesting stats on Instagram, or redesigning the nuts and bolts of our sales collateral PDFs.

Day to day responsibilities for our new digital marketing manager:

  • Conceptualize and develop a vast array of content across the customer lifecycle, and in various formats from blogs to video to slide decks.  

  • Understand the key differences between various social channels and our audiences across each channel to help develop Chaordix’s social media strategy.

  • Manage our marketing automation tool and set up everything from email to new content, landing pages, forms, and lead scoring.

  • Manage online ad campaigns across the usual suspects IE Google, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and anywhere else we can reach our target market in a cost-efficient manner.

  • Set up conversion goals and tracking across all marketing channels, and report back results to senior management on a regular basis.

  • Be the point person for the new Chaordix website and help us publish new content, add integrations with other marketing/web solutions, improve our SEO, A/B test (lots!) and always be tracking the most important web trends and data to help us achieve our targets.
