Senior Sales Executive / Account Manager

When we at Chaordix first took our Crowd Intelligence™ solutions to market, it was 2009 and the world was mired in the depths of a recession. It was hardly the ideal time to take a commercially unproven crowdsourcing product to a risk-averse group of prospective clients. But at the core of our business was an unshakably compelling idea – that with the advent of social technologies and the increasing interdependence of brands and their most passionate consumers, the world was ripe for a new approach in pursuit of innovation.
Fast forward seven (sometimes challenging but always rewarding) years and Chaordix has signed an impressive array of the world’s most innovative companies and largest global enterprises. These organizations have adopted our crowdsourcing technology and programming as key strategic arms of their businesses.
With our company growing, we’re looking for a Senior Software Sales Executive to draw even more of the world’s most loved brands into the Chaordix fold. This is no stock-issue sales job. It requires a highly creative individual, someone capable of understanding a broad range of clients, industries and business drivers and marrying their needs to our solution offerings. As we typically sell to executive-level audiences, we also need someone with serious ability to relate to and build relationships with senior decision makers. It’s also critical that you thrive working autonomously and have a passion for technology.
This isn’t the right gig for everyone. But it’s perfect for someone who’s had a series of sales successes in software or marketing technology and is looking to step out of the everyday business of moving widgets and into something more ambitious. This role will challenge you to take your sales, intellectual and creative game to the next level.

About the Role
You will be part of a small and growing team that is responsible for driving the commercial growth of North American and European business.
You will be involved across the entire sales process, from generating leads to closing sales. To do this, you will work with senior leaders in our business to develop our approach. You will be asked to find creative ways of bringing our solutions to life, so that you can inspire potential clients that our product and services will help develop their business.
You will work in a fast paced, dynamic team that will challenge you on a daily basis. Every day will be different, and you will be working on many opportunities across multiple sectors at any one time.
You will have clear goals, be given regular feedback by your manager – the COO - and you will have the opportunity to progress in a growing, ambitious and entrepreneurial business.

- You have SaaS & Software Product sales experience

The Nuts and Bolts of the Role
You will be responsible for helping us find new clients. You will need to be able to clearly articulate what we do, and ask the right questions to understand our prospective clients’ business objectives and goals.
You will work closely with our leaders and you will have the support of our team of experts to write and cost proposals in a way that is visual, engaging, and tailored to the client’s needs.
You will be part of the team presenting our product to clients, sharing our value and strategies to help them reach their innovation objectives. There is a lot for you to shape in this role. We have lots of excellent case studies to share with clients, and best in class approaches for how we manage a sales process and address client challenges. But we want a person who will be excited about coming up with ideas for how to reach new clients.
In a given week, you may be working on 4 different opportunities at once which are at different stages in the sales process. We work with clients such as KPMG, AT&T, Lego, Lloyds Banking Group, IBM, Virgin Money, Vodafone – so the range of prospective clients you will speak to will be as broad. You may be attending 5-6 initial client meetings / month.
