Multi Community Manager

We are currently looking for an experienced, adept Community Manager capable of hosting, moderating and recruiting on behalf of our clients for several communities. The right candidate is someone with an intrinsic sense of fostering member participation and loyalty, advocating member needs, and overseeing integrity, transparency and productivity in all communities hosted by our clients on the Chaordix crowdsourcing platform. The right candidate eats, lives, and breathes online community, and has a passion to work with our team to make sure our community best practices help to maintain our position as crowdsourcing thought leaders.

Requirements:

  • A true passion for web-based innovation & crowdsourcing
  • Confident at advising major clients on community leadership – including allowing dissent, timely responsiveness and direct candid involvement
  • Experienced at hosting communities of more than 20,000 members, ideally of more than 100,000 members
  • Successful at recruiting community members from social networks, peer communities, through blog and forum participation and using targeted advertisements and co-promotions
  • Track record of inviting and sustaining participation in communities
  • Natural multi-tasker, capable of high-volume activity in multiple communities
  • Adept at successfully resolving conflict among members and between host company and community
  • Social technology early-adopter and capable adviser
  • Online persona that is trusted, fair, helpful and humorous when appropriate
  • Possess a reputation for resourcefulness and skill at pulling off the impossible
  • Strong sense of accountability and initiative
  • Confident and charismatic
  • Ability to learn new technology quickly and thrive in a rapidly evolving environment
