Crowdsourcing: Who’s doing it?

This crowdsourcing game isn’t like it was three years ago when we started. We’ve long moved past the point of being able to count all of the crowdsourcing initiatives on our fingers. To this end, we put together a handy list for us to make sure we stay on top of all the cool things going on.

Turns out, it is a pretty good resource, so we thought we’d share it with everyone. It is so great to see so many different initiatives involving crowdsourcing!

    DoNanza (www.donanza.com) is a search engine that aggregate all those projects from the sites mentioned in the post (and many other), and let you easily search for your relevant projects according to your skills

  2. Great list and a very useful resource.

    There are a few good examples of how a community gets together and instead of the usual ranting and raving starts talking about making a difference in the product or service they like. Here are some examples of some well known US brands and a community of fans trying to make their voice heard - Netflix and United States Postal Service.

    Following the initiatives of open and inclusive government from President Obama, some government agencies have made efforts to actively engage and listen to their customers. Here is one that is open to all Montgomery County Department of Economic Development.
