Product Manager

We are currently looking for an experienced product manager to map the strategic vision for our crowdsourcing offering and help direct our leadership in the marketplace. The winning candidate will be accountable for overseeing the product strategy and roadmap of our Chaordix™ crowdsourcing product. The product manager will work closely with our product development and sales & marketing teams to deeply understand our market, competitive landscape, technology direction and opportunity ahead. We are seeking a leader adept at managing prioritizing tight deadlines, overseeing development priorities to help ensure our continued market leadership. The fitting candidate will also bring technology experience, strong core skills in team leadership and project management.

The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with development, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager’s job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals. The Product Manager is expected to:

  1. Define the product strategy and roadmap
  2. Deliver market and product requirements with prioritized features and corresponding justification
  3. Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
  4. Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples
  5. Be an expert with respect to the competition
  6. Act as a leader within the company

Required experience and knowledge:

  1. Minimum of 5 years experience as a Product Manager
  2. Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
  3. 5+ years of experience with web-based (SaaS) technology
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  5. Bachelor’s degree minimum
  6. Technical background, with experience in PHP ideally
  7. Excellent teamwork skills
  8. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  9. Must be able to travel 10% of the time
  10. Provide at least one sample of an effective product roadmap delivered in the past
