Senior Web Developer

Charodix is currently recruiting a Senior Web developer. The ideal person is someone who loves to code, collaborate with fellow developers, and can provide leadership to, and communicate effectively with the development team. The winning candidate is fed by the accomplishment of building a great product and holds the bar high for the team… including contributing to design pattern, re-factoring and unit testing work that results in better code.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years Object Oriented Development
  • Solid understanding of mySQL and relational database best practices
  • Knowledgeable about application performance, caching and scalability concepts
  • Fluent in Javascript/JQuery
  • Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to listen, interpret and thrive off feedback
  • Strong problem solving and debugging skills
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
  • Experience in mentoring developers

Extra Credit

  • PHP, Python, Java or C experience
  • No SQL Database experience (Redis, Cassandra, etc…)
  • Additional Languages both written and verbal (French, Spanish, German, Portuguese)
  • Familiar with Agile development practices
  • Linux System administration skills definitely a big plus!
  • Understanding of QA / Testing methodologies
